THE CONCEPT IS BORN
It was 2016, and the three founders—Klas, Robert, and Henric—wanted to build on their experience in the restaurant industry by launching a new concept.
We had many ideas, but the final choice was obvious. We wanted to bring esports and gaming into the mainstream—presented in a modern setting with a focus on food, drinks, and the overall experience.
Kappa Bar is launched, and the first location opens in Gothenburg.

Kappa Bar is for everyone. You might be interested in gambling, completely uninterested, or just curious. Our goal is always to give our guests the best experience, no matter who you are.
Everything we do is related to esports or the gaming world—but don’t think you need to be up to date. Our nods and tributes to the gaming world go way back in time, just as much as they might be inspired by a modern game launch.
From day one, we have been committed to maintaining high standards in food, drinks, and service—all set against a playful and modern backdrop.
