Is it time to celebrate Midsummer at the Pontiac Silver Dome again?

This fall, the World Cup qualifiers kick off, and of course you can watch the entire tournament at any Kappa Bar. Many of us remember the summer of 1994, when we made Swedish soccer and sports history and came home with a bronze medal. Back then, we talked about Brolin, Ravelli, Dahlin, Schwarz, and several other standout players. Is it time to give the new generation the same wonderful summer? We certainly hope so, but for that to even be possible, we have to make it through the qualifiers.

We will play six qualifying matches against Slovenia, Switzerland, and Kosovo.

Friday, September 5, 8:45 p.m.: Slovenia – Sweden
Monday, September 8, 8:45 p.m.: Kosovo – Sweden Monday,
Friday, October 10, 8:45 p.m.: Sweden – Switzerland
Monday, October 13, 8:45 p.m.: Sweden – Kosovo
Saturday, November 15, 8:45 p.m.: Switzerland – Sweden
Tuesday, November 18, 8:45 p.m.: Sweden – Slovenia
